My Desrosiers Boreal Chopper...

That seems pretty dog-gone thick to me. Maybe a "typo" ?

Typo or not, it is a really nice piece and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Robert

It doesn't look 5/8" thick to me either...although it DOES look like a badass chopper! That's over a half inch thick:eek:

That's really whicked!!! :) Adam really knows how to build a beast! :D

I have to call typo on the thickness though. If it's really 5/8" thick, then that handle is about 10" long (doing some simple math based on photo dimensions).

I think it's probably 5/16" thick :)

That is one awsome knife, high performance chopping at its best. This man forges in the clip. My brother and one of the best bladesmiths on this planet.

You guys are right about the thickness... I copied the specs f Adams website & something must have been crossed up. My digi calipers need a new battery but the blade appears to be ~9mm thick or a tad over. It's a pretty big, but really balanced knife overall. :)

Oops! Sorry about that. That was a typo on our website. I think it was probably suposed to say 3/8. It is nonetheless, a beast, and I hope it is still devouring the local flora and fauna for Redsnake!

Adam-

Good looking knife, as all that come out of the DesRosiers shop are. Buddy T. has the one I wanted, should have grabbed it off the table, I really gotta quit being so shy.
