The first step is admitting that I have a problem.... and I think I do. It's steel. "Steel snob", "steel junkie", "steel boy"... whatever you want to call me... its TRUE. It started some time back but only got worse when Thomas gave me that SG2 blur. That was like giving candy to a 3 year old... if he only knew the damage he was doing... feeding the addiction. Now it's not just SG2, but I also have to have ZDP, S30V, Stellite whatever... I just need MORE! Don't think Thomas doesn't know what he's doing either. They'll only offer you the premium steels in limited amounts... just enough to keep you coming back for more. Then if you get desperate enough he'll invite you over to show you his magic "box", full of everything you could possibly imagine... then pull it away from you with that maniacal laugh of his!

Well, why fight it... here are pix of my favorites. It's really all about the steel, so I just cropped out the rest of the knives. I feel better already :D
 
Yeah, OE I think you have a problem. When it quits being about the rest of the knife you should consider getting help. I think it's time for an intervention...Thomas, drive over to his house and take all of his knives. You can redistribute them among the rest of us later. It's rehab time. :D

BTW I really like the pattern on that Damascus.......rats, I think it may be catching.
 
well, as SPX would say, I am the likely candidate to take them. should I pm or e-mail you my addy OE? lol.

i have to ask though, what steel is in what pic?

There's this guy that goes by the name of Offsetlover......But some call him
Grasshopper.......he can snatch a pebble right out of your hand before you
can blink an eye. :p ;)

I think this was very cold of Thomas to say, especially with everything I'm going through... first the heavy steel, and now in the valley of my despair OL goes for my knives. I'm not sure who I can turn to anymore.:D
