My Dirty Little Secret.... Steel

i guess you don't have to worry about a blade getting stuck in the back if you get one of the exchange-O-blade knives. Just leave the blade in, pop off the handle, replace the blade and you're good to go! :D

I think I'm going to have to make up for this with some kind of giveaway;) (coming VERY soon) I have an idea already for the contest

Too funny. I have been on a bit of a steel binge myself. On the eve of my birthday, I decided to gather unto myself examples of Kershaws with super steels. In the last few days, the mail has delivered:

1850 Tyrade
1725SG2 Ti/SG2 JYD
1597GRY Offset (admittedly not very super, but the unique shape compensates for that)
1636TiZDP Mini-Cyclone

And I'm still waiting for a 1625ST Whisper that should get here by Friday.

I'm going to have fun deciding which I like more.

The blade steel is unique in the way its made. It MIM'ed. So it does count as a super steel.

Adn yes, I admit that I have a lot of knives bought just because of the steel foremost then the model.

For non stick groove, the tanto horizontal proto blade shown by Thomas would be perfect. It will even control the blood spay pattern!!!!!!!! :) ;)

The first step is admitting that I have a problem.... and I think I do. It's steel. "Steel snob", "steel junkie", "steel boy"... whatever you want to call me... its TRUE.

Well, why fight it... here are pix of my favorites. It's really all about the steel, so I just cropped out the rest of the knives. I feel better already :D

Looks like that damascus blade would make a good desk top background for your pc, or do you already have a set of them in rotation?
That said I have s30v, 154cm, 440a, and 13c26. Just the basics, nothing fancy, yet.

Steel boy......hhhummmm.......
