My Divorce Present To Myself

So my divorce is now officially filed, and i just moved into my new apartment. Since I am now a free man with no one to answer to, I decided to celebrate with a new toy

I already own this guy's big brother, and i am in need of a carry pistol, so this was the logical choice.

Here's my new carry combo

Cant go wrong with Glock or Busse. Both are more than capable of anything you could need them to do.

Great choice! Is that seriously a rice background?

Reminds me of my Homeland we had to pick out the bad rice one by one.

HAHAHA nah, it's my new carpet. I moved into an extremely upgraded bachelor pad, and it has this wicked carpet that pretty much can't get stained. Looks like rice up close

I am hereby declaring today DD (Divorce Day) and it will forever more be a personal holiday. I commit to buy myself a NICE gun or knife on every single Nov 23rd as long as i may live, in reminder of the fact that any evil cheating wench that demands i stop buying guns and knives cannot possibly bring me the joy that i get from a new pistol or piece of INFI

I have people say "i'm sorry to hear that" all the time, and it just doesn't make sense.... Marriage is like a boat. The two best days are the day you get it, and the day you get rid of it.
 
Your ex-wife must be very dangerous, you need a bigger knife and assault rifle.

Ya I think it's different for everybody too and a lot of guys do get all hung up on women. We had so many issues and the day I found out she cheated I laughed and felt relief because I finally had an out and one that nobody would blame me for. :)
 
Nothing beats the feeling of the weight lifted off your back when all the BS of the divorce is said and done. I remember standing in a new city without a job and nothing left in reserve feeling like the luckiest man alive. Congrats on your new group as well:thumbup:
 
That's a lot of knife for EDC!!! Congrats on the big D!! Just try and take something positive as a lesson learned away from the whole thing.
 
I agree with all that's been said about divorce. 2009 for me, and have never looked back.

Buying yourself a divorce present is a great idea. I ended up getting a four wheeler, myself.

Glad you had some dough left after it all. Spent twice as much on lawyer getting a divorce than spent on the wedding! Drug out for almost two years. Funny thing is what I tried offering when we split is what the judge ordered. If she could have just been reasonable we both would have been better off.
