Here's another one just so everyone can understand why he's my bunny. :) Look at his big, pink ears. :) He's my best friend. :)

Forget it. As soon as I get the images up, they disappear. :grumpy:

I can't believe it! I go through all of the trouble to get pics up of one of my dogs and not one person complimented my bunnyhead. Come on people, tell me he's cute. SAY IT! SAY IT! :D :p

I know where you guys and gals live. :)

I didn't think I needed to state the obvious. ;)

He is a beauty. :D

I like White German Shepherds quite a bit, especially after getting to know my friend's giant. He weighs in around 140 lbs and knows it, though he is a big sweetie though if he knows you. His name is Tsunami because he is a great white wave. Gets called Sue (Tsu) though, which is funny because he is obviously a male. Makes me think of the Johnny Cash song every time.

How old is Tyr?

You can see my pup in my avatar. He looks fat in the pic, but he isn't. Just deep chested and a bad picture. His name is Seamus (shay-mus) and really is just a pup still at a little over a year. We think he's part Rotty, part Black Lab, with maybe some shepherd and whatever. He definitely can be a herder at times, though it isn't a consant behavior. Lots of people are afraid of him, which is humorous to me because he gives off every friendly signal a dog could. He LOVES every person and dog he meets.

Thanks guys. Yes, he is a white shepherd. Shgeo, I can't believe you don't recognize the bunny in him. ;) It's soooo obvious. :) Anyhow, I must say, there are some adorable dog pics in this thread. It must be really difficult to be sooooo cute all the time. I think that they're all overworked. :D

Yeah, we think that Tyr will be pretty big when he's through growing. He's a little older than one right now and he weighs in at about 110-115. He still has some wolfpack-type characteristics which I find really adorable. For example, if I'm lying down, he doesn't cuddle up along side of me. Oh no, he lies down across my chest or my knees. It's really uncomfortable but really endearing at the same time. He's such a rough dog, but he's incredibly sweet.

Your dog is very cute. He does look like a rotty/lab mix. It's really good that he's socialized. All of my dogs are also loving and well behaved. He's gonna be a big baby. I think there's something really remarkable about having a huge animal around that really adores you. It's a special friendship. :)

This is Kermit the Dog. He is a 10 year old, 100 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever. If you hold up his ears they look just like Tyr's

Steve,
That is a great breed of dog. I like that coat they have.

Bwahahahaha...I just got the Kermit the Dog thing, it's a little late here. Good looking dog.

jsmatos,

Thanks. :D

What a cute dog Neil. I like his white shading around his eyes and mouth. He has a snow nose like my other shepherd, Freyja. Very cute. You've got a good looking best buddy there. :)

And that from a man who knows a few things about Avatar babes!

Seriously, though, she is an adorable-looking dog. Standard poodles are very intelligent... very energetic, but very intelligent.

Oft times, smarter than their keepers. If we allow them to, they, along with the other breeds, train us well.

My canine companion is a rat terrier.

Some great-looking dogs in the bunch. Epecially some of the German Shepards, and Cody.

Here is Joe, an older Collie we adopted from the New Mexico Collie Rescue:

This is Sadie, adopted from the pound in Pueblo, Colo. And she acts like it...

It appears to be either that the dog is closer to the camera, or everything really is bigger in Australia, Stockman, that is one big dog! There has to be something else recent in that dogs bloodline! As for all toy dogs, they are just typewriter dogs to me, they run up, bark and bounce backwards, then run up again. My current pup edc? A 3 yrs old yellow labrador, soon to be joined with either another yellow lab, or a golden retriever. I'm sold on retrievers, and want to get a Chesapeake Bay retriever.

My dog alternates between his "room", the mudroom, and free reign of the house. He has started sleeping in my room, and when I come home at night, and walk into my room, he will spring off of my bed and put on a "what, not me" act. I've slept on his cot, when he was a puppy with him, and it is not as comfortable as my bed :D. Been using stuffing and cedar chips to fill up his cot.
