Indeed, he debuted his Slipjoints around September last year, here are some from past Slipjoints Bob has made and sold:

Also, here's what they posted on the site when he debuted his Slipjoints:

NEW DOZIER SLIP JOINT

Bob first made the slip joint knife in 1975. The original lasted 150 opening and closings before the backspring broke and flew across the room. After that he figured he didn't know how to make a slip joint. Bob has been working under the guidance of ex-Camilus folder engineer and current AG Russell Knives engineer, Phil Gibbs. The slip joint has been re-engineered and re-designed using D2 steel as blade material, titanium liners, and Carpenter Trinamet steel as backspring material. The slip joint was put on a Backspring Lifetime Tester and was opened and closed 350,000 times without the spring yeilding or breaking.

My most humble thanks and appreciation, Mr. Russell. Bob's knives are a pursuit that are more than worth the effort. Your knifeshows are just the same, first knife show I ever went to was yours in Rogers 2009. I didn't get to go this year but I hope to next year. I found it alot more comfortable than Blade, although that was a heck of a show too.

Very handsome collection.

I've always hand a soft spot for Dozier's old style fighters since I saw them in a few 70's knife books. Are the above vintage, or does Mr. Dozier still make them from time to time?

:).
