My Dream Case Knife...What about you?

Case gave me mine with the stag CV 47...

It's vacationing in TN, but will be back with me for Christmas! I miss my baby!
 
Sowbelly Frame (3&3/4) with wharncliffe main, long secondary clip, and long secondary thinned pruning/hawksbill blade( like on a Farmers Jack ) in CV and Ebony or bone.
 
Mine would be 6207LP Case Tested XX green bone 3-1/2
1/2 Trapper has a long pull. Great old knife!

I was going to go with a Case abose collaboration, maybe a daddy barlow. However i'd just like to see them use better steels. I have been using some Case SS knives daily but would still like to see better steels.

I'm thinking of upgrading my Case/Bose Lanny's clip to Stag, as I've been saving up and with the delay, I'll have a bit more time to make up the difference in price. As it is, my Dream Case is very near in coming true. It's been on my dream list since I first saw the Lanny's Clip thread here a couple years ago.

Edited to add: Just checked Case's site, and it says "Shipping Now" :D:D:D:D:D:D :eek:
 
A 3 7/8 inch trapper in cv i with amber bone, a 4 inch sodbuster in cv with yellow handles, and to re introduce the 92 pattern stockman. I would pick tha sodbuster if I could only pick one tho.
 
A Damascus Stockman in 3 5/8" or 3 7/8" with stag rancher handle scales, and a pinned shield. I'd have to have two though because one would be used ALL the time.:D

My dream case knife would be a Case Tested era green bone two blade Swell end jack of some sort in mint condition.

This comes close but its too new, not dead mint and is the smaller 3" version. I want the #17.

The upcoming Lanny's Clip in ebony is pretty much my dream Case. The tribal spear in ebony that I had was just about perfect. The Lanny's Clip looks to be very similar. Something with a single, beefy blade of ATS-34/ 154-CM that's a bit over 3" long and can be pinched open, with ebony scales is what I want.
 
I'd go with a cv loomfixer in green jig bone for a folder and a cv l'il devil dressed in amber bone and a nicer sheath than the original one for a fixed.
 
I'm really enjoying the sway back jack pattern, but would love to see it with some sort of upgraded modern super steel. I think cpm-m4 would fit the bill nicely as it would keep somewhat with tradition since it is a carbon tool steel but features powdered metal technology and performance that puts it head hand shoulders ahead of anything seen on production traditional and truthfully tops just about everything out there today in terms of edge holding without being overly difficult to sharpen (about the same as s30v in my experience) I am really liking my cv/chestnut sbj, but one in cayenne bone and cpm-m4 would be the bee's knees... I'd easily fork over a large chunk of change for a classy traditional pattern with modern super steel. (modern knives featuring m4 typically run $150+, so a price point of under $200 would be a good target. I know I'd snatch one up in a hurry.
 
M4 is tough stuff... I think D2 is fine for a traditional type steel. I really like for my slipjoints to be easy to sharpen. And since I dont abuse them like I do my modern knives, a super tough steel isnt as important to me.

A sbj with d2 and various scale options would be excellent as well. Although personally I find m4 about the same as d2 with regards to sharpening, m4 just holds an EXTREMELY fine edge much longer. Like I said though, d2 would be great as well. Mostly I'd just like to see some nice traditional knives done up in some higher end steels. D2 and 154cm/ats-34 are good but there is just so many excellent steels that don't seem to ever get used in traditional knives.
