I have a Dremel variable speed rotary multipro tool kit. The kit is about two years old, but the dremel only has about ten minutes total runtime on it. I would say that most of the attachments are there except some of the throw away grinding discs. There are maybe half of those left. This kit comes in a nice case. I think the design of the dremel and case is different now, but this one is nice nonetheless. The whole kit really looks nice. I just never use it.

wow, back up from over two years ago. I was cleaning out my garage today and found this. Haven't used it since. I would trade this for some type of knife.

I can offer you a spyderco dragonfly for it. My dremel is broke. this knife is a smaller one. Plain edge with frn handle.

Is it strong enough to grind steel? Like if someone would like to make knives?

I'd jump on this if I didn't already have one! (In fact, I'm kinda mulling it over, but I just can't figure out any good reason to have two of them, lol)

This is an EXCELLENT tool. I use mine darn near every day. At least every day I spend any time in the shop. Can't imagine what I would do without it.

So yep, it'll grind steel- I do finger grooves and things like that all the time.

(On the other hand, if you're thinking of grinding in the primary bevels with the dremel, not a chance.)
