My SJTAC from BLADE West is a "tweener" too - it's .203", thicker than the .187 CG but thinner than the .220 LE. Honestly, I think it's just about a perfect thickness. If only it were the right color. The handles are awesome but the blade isn't nearly clay-y enough....
I've taken to measuring thicknesses and weighing all of my knives, because there seem to be so many thickness variants. Even my FSH - it's .275, HH FSH thickness, but full flat ground instead of the saber on the HH.
I personally love that there are all these variations - makes things exciting. Especially buying through a proxy and having no idea what thickness blades will be until they show up on my doorstep![]()
