Approximately 7 yrs ago I decided to sell the majority of my traditionals and invest in more modern folders and fixed blades.
After reading countless reviews; buying, trying and selling; perusing BF as a non member for years and finally as a member, I've settled on these 8 folders for my EDC rotation. I just added the 710-1401 to complete the set.
I had a hard time trimming the last few from the herd but I gifted most of them to family members. My wife got my g10 Delica and LW Manix 2 110v. 😉
Nothing fancy but I'm very happy with where I'm am at the moment. I've never felt this satisfied.
Time to make a couple tweeks to my fixed blades.

Thought I would share since it's your fault.......thank you BF and its members.

I had one of the early green handles 940s and foolishly sold/traded it.

Just like some knives - wish I had some of the old cars and pick-ups I used to have as well.

Knice collection.

Really nice collection! Love that 710-1401, I wish it was in my budget right now. How does it carry? And I heard they fixed the little problem with the tip not sitting down in the handle far enough when closed. Love the blade on the McHenry and Williams knives.

I should have listed the knife models.

Benchmade 710-1401.
Spyderco LW Manix 2 BD, Spyderco Rookie G10
Spyderco Gayle Bradley. Spyderco Chaparral
Benchmade 940-1, Spyderco Techno
Benchmade 940,

Hi George,
For a knife this big, it's carries easy.
I believe they fixed the tip problem after the first batch.
If you do order one, make sure and ask for a hand picked one.
I feel like it is a lot of knife for the money.

Good idea asking for a hand picked one, never thought of doing that. The blade on the 710 is just so attractive to me, and the m390 variant you have just looks so much better with the sculpted black and blue g10.

Where do you get your knives from that you can do this?
The 710-1401 is a Knifeworks exclusive. I don't know if the hand picking is for exclusives only or for everything. Probably should call to check. Very nice and accommodating folks at KW.
