In recent time I have carried a different primary almost every day. My fixed blade has stayed the same, the street beat. I always carry a delica 4 in a neck sheath that holds it closed. I keep a P'kal on my person as a backup to my USP .45. A few months ago I bought a carbon fiber ZDP caly 3 and I wanted to carry it immediately but I wanted to have 2 of them. I finally got another one in trade today. Now my EDC will stop rotating. I think this is the perfect general utility knife. It is sharp, attractive and doesnt freak out the sheeple. Not to mention that the ZDP-189 is insanely sharp.

Congratulations!!
You have success where others have failed. :)
I wish I could say the same, but right now I am waiting on my D2 Military to ship to my local dealer, so I can buy it! :)

I have to agree, the CF ZDP Caly 3 is a great EDC blade. It's at the top of my "to buy" list.

Wayne I am the opposite I rotate my fixed blades very rarely. I carried a Rat-3 for 2 years before I bought this street beat. I am eyeing that RC-3 though so I might start rotating them. This Caly 3 is really impressive though, the woman I live with even said," wow what a pretty knife".

My Caly 3 ZDP/CF also put a serious slow down on my rotation. It really is a VERY nice knife, top notch construction and SUPER sharp. I've recieved many compliments about how nice of a knife it is. I do agree it is my favorite EDC by a healthy margin right now.
