My Emerson's are taking over!

I am at the point in my knife collecting career where I am much more selective than I used to be, and concentrate on quality over quantity. I have no customs or mid techs, and tend to concentrate on the higher end Production folders.

I have tried several knives from all of the major brands (you all know the usual suspects) over time, and have settled on Emerson, ZT, and CRK as my go to makers. Of these 3, Emerson seems to lead the pack and I have more Emerson's than any other single brand.

I have all of the current CRK's and ZT's that I want (except maybe the 0630), but I seem to want one of every Emerson made, and as far as customs, if I go there, an Emerson would be the first. I guess that gives me a goal for the rest of my life, LOL.

Anyway, I always pick something from my EDC rotation to carry on any given day, in addition to whatever Emerson I'm carrying. I never (and I mean never never never) leave the house without an Emerson in my pocket. I would feel naked without one. Anyone else do this?

Here's a pic of the current collection, so people, my question to all of you is: which one is next?

Looks like you need a roadhouse... And a gentleman Jim... Oh and an el bandito... And on it goes lol

Nice collection! I've got my 4th, a 15, on the way

Try a 14 otherwise too, the snubby can be surprisingly useful

I love the handle on my CSF, so a roadhouse might be great.

I am also very interested in a 14, and on, and on...LOL

I would say some of the harder to find models should be next. Models like Mach-1, Blackbird, Raven, or an M-wave. They are getting harder to find as time goes on. If you buy it and don't like them you can probably get your money back if you decide to sell them. The more recent models should be easier to find and you can probably find a good deal on one by keeping your eyes open in the exchange. That's just my .02 cents

I was posting on a forum just last week how I'd noticed that of all my folders, which I try to keep varied, I have a preponderance of Emersons now. More than any other brand.

Wonder if that means something....

I concur. I have others but Emerson knives are where its at. Nice collection by the way.

I say the Persian...just 'cause it's such a cool design.

The 13 is a great all around knife. I had the variety but the 7 and the 13 remain in my collection.

I think my next Emerson will be a Roadhouse with PE/SF blade.

Because I love the handle on my CSF so much, and I loves me a good tanto.
