That sounds like a bloodbath.....Whooo hooo! Man, that's a *serious* bite ya got there. I sure am glad you didn't sever any tendons or anything important. Also, good on ya for stopping the bleeding too (and cleaning off yer blade!!!).
Many years ago i owned a restaurant and one of my waitresses was washing dishes and cut 3 of her fingers on my big 'ol cheese cutting knife. She ran a sponge right up the edge of the 20" hair-poppin' blade. She severed the primary tendon in her middle and ring fingers (on the "gripping" side) and sliced her index finger along the same line. Was a wicked, nasty cut for sure.
