My ESEE 5 bit me!

Important thing is that your OK. Its always scary when the hands are involved, something we rely on and they are quite vulnerable. Hope that heals up clean and your back to pounding steel through wood soon!

Whooo hooo! Man, that's a *serious* bite ya got there. I sure am glad you didn't sever any tendons or anything important. Also, good on ya for stopping the bleeding too (and cleaning off yer blade!!!).

Many years ago i owned a restaurant and one of my waitresses was washing dishes and cut 3 of her fingers on my big 'ol cheese cutting knife. She ran a sponge right up the edge of the 20" hair-poppin' blade. She severed the primary tendon in her middle and ring fingers (on the "gripping" side) and sliced her index finger along the same line. Was a wicked, nasty cut for sure.

I always wash from the spine-side (and try to teach others to do the same!)

Good thing chicks dig scars...that is one serious love bite. I hope you and your blade have made nice and are back together.

What I want to know is: Does a situation like this requires domestic violence charges be filed? :D

LOL.... no I think this might be the 5's way of saying it wants more attention.... like a puppy chewing up a sweater or something

Ok so i showed my wife your "Love Bite" (She's a Doc and tolerant of me...lol) Now whenever my knife come out in her presence I get the "be careful". Note to self...some things are not to be shared with the wife.
