Hi everyone. I just wanted to show what I have done to my Eskabar.

Here it is at work yesterday. I added the jimping along the spine a few weeks ago.

Hi, well done! How did you do the jimpings? I tried with a file but they do not look so perfect as yours.

Excellent work! As others have said, the jimping turned out great. I've got a pretty crappy jimp job on my 14 and 13 that I did with a dremel.

Losvedese, I would recommend stripping the coating. My jimping looked much better after that. Then really smooth out the file work with some rolled up sandpaper. Good luck.

For the moment I won't strip the coating because I like it; I'm looking for a rounded file to finish the job and give it a better look, then I'll use the sandpaper as you suggested.
