I dont have a picture yet to show it.. But my spyder logo is somewhat spotty and dull.... As if the machine slowly died while etching it..;)

Anyone ever see this?

Thanks
Matt

Mike,
It was about 99% overall...when i got it a few days ago.. just carried for the most part. Everything else was mint...
I was thinking maybe a chemical agent.. but the finish is more spotty than just faded..
I mean, this is my user now.. And I have another lined up as a safe queen.. But I still am interested..
Perhaps one of the peeps at spyderco would know..?

Weird. They're laser engraved, so unless the machine suddenly started running cold I'm not sure how that would happen.

I had a logo like that on the first Sage I picked up. It's a user, so it didn't bother me much. I thought I was the only one!:D

Thanks for the replys guys...
I will say this is the smoothest and best locking para of the 3 D2 models that I owned.. And I do have another im getting as a back up hopefully..
No worries here..
Hey Spyderco, Sal, Taz.. any idea?

I've seen it. The logo on my Native IV looked like it was painted on and smudged before it was dry. That was one of the nitpicky annoyances I had with the knife...
