My father, Pala, a Kami Sherpa, arrived in New York a couple of days
ago.
He is visiting his children and grandchildren. In a few days he will move on
to Boston to make a few more visits to his children.

At the end of the month, he will be with me for a time, as we deal with some
health issues due to old age.

I would like him to retire and enjoy the rest of his life, but that will
not be easy to accomplish.

Namaste and Welcome back, Pala !
We are always interested and enjoy hearing from you when we are able.
I think you will find things much as they were here, except for a few new faces.

Take care of your health and be well.

Welcome Pala, I am glad to have you here and wish you a good stay. I know Yangdu has been looking forwad to seeing you from our phone conversations. I am even now visiting my parents who live far, but not as far as you, away from me in Florida. I live in Indiana so I do not get to see them very often so it is always nice to be able to give them both a hug and tell them I love them.

You only get one set of parents. I hope you are both enjoying each other's company very much.

This is great news. Pala's last visit was before my involvement ( a more pleasant and nicer term than virus or addiction :o ) here took off !

I hope he has time to share some of his life story here in the Cantina on his forthcoming stay. :)

Welcome back, Pala. It's always good when you visit us. Please take care of yourself.

Namaste

My father Kami, pala arrived in Reno yesterday.
Warm regards and Namste from Pala to all forumites:)

So glad to have you with us Kami Sherpa. May you and Yangdu have a very good visit. I'm sure that getting to see family again has been a blessing for you. Thank you for all that you have done through Himalayan Imports. Enjoy and be healthy.

Namaste Pala, don't let Yangdu get you too fat during your visit. ;) :D

I hope Pala and yourself have a wonderful visit together.

Family is what it is all about.

How long will he be with you?

I'm planning a cross-country trip to CA and back for my sister-in-laws wedding and will be passing through Reno on July 11th. We'd love to stop by and visit if you are in town and it's not too much bother.

Dan
