I wander how people go so many years deep to find such a thread. I understand that the search function is the culprit. But it still funny.
As for the subject: I have got CRKT Hammond Cruiser by chance and was not impressed at all. Yes, the handle is quite comfortable. Blade size, shape and thickness are quite pleasing. The steel and HT are not bad - I actually like it much more than Buck Vantage - another of the pair which I use for all kind of dirty house reno/maintenance work...
But there are issues. One of the first things I did when I got it - I tried to switch the clip from tip down to tip up. And I failed! That is very unusual for me. That is simple thing. But the screws turned out just a bit short - so no matter how I tried, how hard I pressed it... I just stripped the thread on all of them. I was absolutely pissed off. That was disgusting! And then there is a blade play which is impossible to remove without removing the flipping capability as well. And finally the linerlock: right from the box it was already more than halfway through and it keeps jumping around from one opening to another...
I think this Hammond Cruiser was my worst CRKT experience to date. I have had Lake Signature, My Tighe, M1 - they are all fine knives. But not this one!
