When I glance over pics. this is the one knife design that I keep coming
back to. Double edged 11.25" +- blade with a balancing point at the begining
of the bottom edge (this is where I try to keep it). The D-guard version weighes
in at 1 lb., 11oz. So without the d-gaurd it's around 1 lb., 8 oz.
I call these "combat" knives. This one pictured had scales of Maple bedded in thin black leather.
The lanyard hole is 3/8" ( easy to get through even without my reading glasses
).I make the beltloops on the sheath big enough to handle a 3.5" belt.
Usually I'll attach a leg-tie or a place to do so.
Just thought I'd share my favorite here.
