Hey everyone, I got another Breeden Knife. Its a 4" Pathfinder with red G-10
handles. I absolutely love it. The handles are ground flat and the grip is awesome. I practiced making a fuzz stick and i still need a lot of practice. I love this knife for kitchen use too. It is so comfortable in the hand. Bryan's sister likes it better than my kat knife too.

Kathy,
Hey, let's see a picture of that one! I have not seen the PF in red yet. Sounds great.

When you get around to it, that is.:D

I found that my Pathfinder is great in the kitchen too. the offset in the handle makes it much nicer to use in the kitchen than my other "field knives."

I am curious about that pink Kat in your avatar. Is that for real or did you edit a photo to get it like that?

I didn't have my pics ready and i meant to get back sooner. But here they are.

Shaolin that pink knife is my "kat" knife. This red one is the "pathfinder". My husband makes them.

Hi Jeff, My avator pic is just one i took. I did not edit it. By the way when do you want me to send my Kat knife to you?
I can part with it now that i have my pf.

What do you guys think? Since my pf handle is small & thin bryan made the sheath smaller. He marked the holes & i drilled them & sewed it. Should i trim off the extra leather?

great looking knife kathy.. i just ordered another breeden knife..:o it's actually the samer knife i already had, but in a thicker steel stock...

That is awesome! Great Pic.

You should post some pics of some cutting chores.

Great knife but if I'm totally honest the sheath does let it down a little !!!

Kathy,

GREAT looking knife! I'm looking forward to getting my green-handled Pathfinder that Bryan made as he was making yours!

As for sheath-making, I find Bryan's sheaths perfectly functional..."artistry" will come with time.

Pitdog: check around and find out how many knifemakers make their own sheaths...not many! While Bryan's may lack a certain "refined" look that some have, at least he's attempting to make his own...and not charging you an arm and leg to do it!

Bryan and I are working on another design right now. I won't let the "cat out of the bag" so to speak, but I think you guys...and gals...will like it!:D

Ron

Sorry I am so confusing Shaolin, I should've had the pics on right away. I always forget how long it takes to upload them. Plus Bryan's sister came over to help us do a scan on our computer so it was quite awhile before i got the pics on bf. Thanks for your nice comments. :)

Hey Jeff H, Did you ask about my avator pic because the kat knife looks so small in that pic? I never realized how small it looks till you asked about it. The kat knife is 7" long overall and that beanie baby is 6" tall sitting down.

We will get the kat knife sent out possibley today or tommorow. I will let you know for sure later.

Not the one in the avatar, the one in the sig line.
Sorry. I didn't even SEE the one in the avatar.:o
Is that a Pink Kat in the sig line pic or is my monitor playing tricks on me?

Ron,

I can't wait for you to get your pf. Now that i have one and like it so much, i know you will love yours too. Micarta handles look and feel so good in the hand too.
Thanks for the nice comments.

Thank so much for all the nice comments everyone, but none of this would be possible without Dave Sloan. He is a Master Craftsman of Knife and Sheath making. He taught Bryan very well and Bryan and I are so very grateful and we always will be. Thank you Dave for everything. Bryan and Kathy Breeden
