  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My Fiddleback 12" Machete

Man, that looks good Ban! I think its easy to screw up machete grinds. Folks think of the machete as so lowly, and disregard the grind, but its a tricky one. Its long, and flexible, and tapers from butt to tip. Its pretty easy to get uneven parts IMO. You recovered perfectly. Nice job.

This is true!

I convexed my magnum Khukri machete, and it took some thinking and effort. The 18 inch blade is a continuous curve, and because the steel is softer, it is also very quick to show a mistake!

Especially at the Tip! Not easy. And that machete is actually thicker than most, with no distal taper to worry about.
