I think many of your posts are very funny, and sometime strikingly wise. At the same time- as someone who's been known to say practically anything, at times- let me tell you about a fortune cookie I got recently. It said something like:
Kindness is wisdom also. I thought it was a pretty good lesson for me. No, maybe you don't call names, and maybe you don't deliberately try to hurt people, but I'll be damned if you sometimes don't across as the most cussedly uncaring person who has managed to inhabit here for any length of time. I know showing genuine feeling like
concern is scary, because you're vulnerable when you use it, but it's liberating, too.

Ahmmrrumm Sppktur! Wait, I mean "Amen, Spectre!" My mouth was full of popcorn and beer. Ben, you're a sarcastic bastard just like me, and plenty cynical to boot. I didn't learn to reign my self in until my beautiful wife showed me the error of my ways. Weren't none pleasant, but I think I'm better for it. Peace.

One thing you will NEVER find is a post where I attacked someone personally or called anyone a name. I never post from a "knee jerk" or emotional "cheap shot" position. I consider name calling and personal attacks a lower form of activity and, truthfully, I hold myself to higher standards.

I use irony, satire, cynicism, humor, and just plain off-the-wall nonsense, but I respect everyone's humanity and I would never do anything to humiliate or degrade. To do so would violate my code of ethics and only degrade myself.

With some of the posts you make Ben you had just as well make personal attacks, call people names and post from a knee jerk or cheap shot position and disrespect people's humanity because you manage too do all of those things anyway.
Some of your posts are completely out of line and over the top regardless of whether you violate your code of ethic's and/or degrade yourself because too many of us think that you did that by making the post anyway.
Figuratively speaking regardless of how you call a man a sonofabitch you have still successfully called him a sonofabitch or otherwise hurt other peoples feelings.
It is unnecessary and uncalled for no matter how wry you think your wit may be.

I have respect for the Ben who wrote, "Religion requires you to "believe", which is why it is called "faith". Spirituality does not require "faith" or "belief", but depends on direct knowledge of God, which can only come from God." But I do not have respect for the Ben who "pisses in everybody's lemonade," to quote Rusty.

And you might not be going anywhere by choice but I wouldn't bet my last dollar on your not going anywhere if you keep choosing to make such disparaging posts that piss off everyone.
I can't say you're a troll but you do use some trolling manners at times.
