Let me start by saying that the Culti was not used to make this picture. The shavings are from other bushcraft knives from last night. I just though it would make a better prop. The Skinny Ash however was used just a little bit.

Since my son is twenty something and my daughter is 10 I feel pretty comfortable in my manhood.

Not to say your pretty cute yourself. :p That sammich in your avatar would make anyone feel frisky. :D

So what is your take on the two you've chosen. As far as a bush crafting go to the woods do all type Busse pair of knives for your needs.

That' a tough question. I am use to thinner knives for what I do. Typically what I used for heavier chopping or heavier utility blade I use my Bark River Golok, Bark River Custom Axe or an ESEE-5.
With that being said I am not sure if the set up is practical for me.As a Bushcrafter I think the Culti may be too small for what I want to do and the Skinny Ash too heavy for belt carry. The Skinny Ash for me has been a little disappointing.
I am expecting some Fiddleback Forge knives for general camping, backpacking and whittling.
I will say though that I am impressed with the presence that Busse ha in your handed. You definitely feel that if the SHTF this is what I want with me.
I am not sure what I am going to do yet. Sell them or keep them. With the way the economy is going and with the threat of a depression in the states there may be people going nuts. Post Apocalyptic type stuff that I may need to keep it.

I'm sorry to hear that. I love my Skinny to death. I could see how it would be a little heavy for constant belt wear, but to me it's the perfect do everything knife. Maybe you'd be happier with the current Boss Street offering. The CABS is thin and lighter. I'd keep the ASH though. Maybe there's even a Swamp Rat that would suit you better. The VEX and Ratmandu may be the two most perfect knives ever created in their respective sizes.

I actually have a CABS on order. I have an email into somewhat about stripping the coating and giving it a competition finish with possibly smoothing the scales down just a little bit.

nice two knives to piggyback in a sheath.....i prefer my SFNO with cultie combo but the ASH1 and cultie combo is top shelf also.

J Ps BBQBOY....start using google or Wiki...they are your friends..just saying:rolleyes:
