I actually have a CABS on order. I have an email into somewhat about stripping the coating and giving it a competition finish with possibly smoothing the scales down just a little bit.

Kinds surprised you didn't like the Skinny.

If you're not going to try to sell it, you might want to see if someone like Ban will put a nice convex edge on it -- probably be much better.

However, since you've got a CABS on order, I'd suggest a Mistress to pair it with. Something like a NMFBM would make a good chopper, with a proper edge (again, see convex edge). If you don't need heavy chopping the BWM is a fine specimen. My BWM actually carves fuzz sticks as well as my BRKT Aurora did.

EDIT: I highly recommend baldric carry for larger knives. Something like the Skinny you'll get used to on your belt. Something bigger like a Mistress is better off with a baldric.
