How you will receive your knife:

10 - S0tAhs2.jpg13 - X0mRkuB.jpg
The knives will go in my custom zipped pouch, it has my logo laser engraved on it, has a really dense foam inside that locks the blade in its inside for safe transport.

Why to have one:

Its been almost 2 years im being fulltime kitchen maker and i realized that the "common point" between all my customers is that they all have and use very often utilities blades like these. Some prefer long sujihikis, gyutos in the 250mm range and such, but blades like these will always have space in all kitchens. They are light, fast, agile, their balance and weight are guaranteed to become an extension of your hand/arm and allow you to work with laser precision on the board. They are very thin behind the edge so they can be sharpened really fast and easy (even if you pick magnacut at 62hrc). Im confident to say that these little beauties are going to become one of your favorite.

I have a knife on the way from Francisco, should be here by the weekend. It was a pleasure working with him, unbelievably good communication. I'll update this when the knife gets here but I wouldn't hesitate to order from him.

The only part that was questionable was taking payment up front using western union,😥 but his communication and options are prefect with great references, time will tell and will report back once order has been completed.😀🤗😉

I appreciate the trust you and a few other members had put on me.

One of the reasons i take payments via western union is a bit of a long story.

I started selling knives exclusively internationally on 2021. By that time, one of my first orders was from a dude on Netherlands, he ordered 3 knives from me.

0.jpg The order was these 3 knives (and there is another picture from him of the gyuto on my customer gallery on the website), by that time i didnt even had a hosted website and i used paypal normally. He was one of the first customers i ever asked "customer pictures" because netherlands is known to be a snowly place, and since we dont have snow in brazil, i thought it would be nice to have some pictures to flex to my parents lol.

By doing this order, i realized i could make much better knives and profit much more by doing international sales due the exchange rate to my local currency (real). My father by that time was really bad of health and taking payments in foreign currency was a great deal to help him, I got a lot of orders during the mid to end 2021 and i always used paypal without any problem.

I shipped so many knives in a short timing that DHL contacted me offering a partnership program which im still part of it up to date, giving me better prices and allowing me to ship the orders without payment upfront, like a exclusive credit card account in their own system.

The problem started on 2022/feb. By that time i had processed over 60 payments of orders when paypal simply blocked my account asking for further data. I didnt even knew this was a thing, they literally frozen my account (including funds and money withdraw) asking for a lot of documents, as their "normal" procedure.

I remember they asked me: my ID, proof of shipment delivery on all payments i received, proof of customer contact (like email from customers asking for orders inquiry and such), invoices from suppliers (steel, wood, abrasive belts suppliers etc).

I provided literally everything they asked on my end, by something around 1 week after they permanently shut down my account, and there comes the problem: As their "terms and conditions of service" that we usually skips, they froze all the funds on my account for 180 days (half an year) and provided no description on the problem. All they claimed was my business was to risky for them. Up to date, i got no real answer from them why they closed my account, i can call them anytime and all they will say is "that is done by our internal procedures and we cant reach further details"

I searched a bit and found a lot makers and people who deals/trades guns parts and such to be banned from paypal too. It is actually quite common to see people sending money for knives in paypal without any description afraid of getting caught by their algorithm.

I do knives for a living, by that timing when my funds were frozen, it almost broke my business and i had a hardtime paying my bills and literally living, international express shipment is quite expensive and since i couldnt have access to my funds, it was insanely hard to make everything fit by the end of the month. I had a substantial money there and to be really honest, i was in rage that even after providing all the documents they asked they still did it. Never used again and im still afraid of trusting a company which thinks it is fine to do this randomly. Not to mention their customer service on brazil is not that good and i had a hardtime trying to contact them asking for updates and such.

After this i started using remitly which is imensely smaller than paypal and still have a 24/7 customer service. Amazing company, but i finally migrated to western union since sometimes remitly will ask too much of personal information from customers, like pictures of driving license and such, which can bother some people. Also, western union is much more reputable and have a lot of local places around US.

I wish i could take paypal but after the experience i had with them, im panicked to trust them my business finances.

My petty arrived today, it‘s a terrific addition to our kitchen. It’s very thin and light, I think the pinch grip will be great for some chores. It will be used more by my wife and I’m betting she’ll love it for vegetable prep. I’ll follow up after it gets some use.

A word about my experience. Francisco was a pleasure to deal with, communication was great. He followed up many times with tracking, even contacted DHL concerning a delay. I live somewhat rural and DHL transferred it USPS, I was fine with it. Don’t hesitate do deal with him, he made the order exactly as ordered, packed it very securely and followed up.

Here it’s next to a Gerber Balance Plus that has been in use for well over 20 years.2027FB67-624B-4B20-AD19-A262043704FA.jpeg

Hi All,
I received my petty a few days ago and I've been using it a lot since then. Beautiful knife. Very light and easy in the hand. Sharp as blazes. Sale was super smooth and the communication was extraordinary. DHL is not quick, and Western Union contacted me directly to be sure I knew what I was doing, but I wasn't in a rush, so no issues there. Photo below.. sorry for the quality. Francisco made a beautiful handle with bog oak and a ring of blue coral. Sweet.

Thanks Francisco!

Erratum: I think it's not bog oak, but ironwood.
