Awesome blade man! Glad to hear you've had a life turn around or whatnot as well!
I always say creative tool making is one of the most theraputic things I've ever done...

It does look nice, what are the particulars? Steel type, etc...
I'm a beginner too, so congratulations on your first full knife.
I don't recall seeing grind marks on finished blades, but like I said I'm a beginner.

Great job on your 1st! Take a q-tip and clean out that thong hole though :p

You'd be very surprised how many of us understand about getting out lives back through the craft.

One step at a time down the path.

I know how you feel Im the same I had very little going on in my life because of my injury to my neck/lower back . Im lucky to be alive after being in a 1 ton truck that rolled end for end twice at 70 miles per hour. I tinker at this new hobby as much as I can till my neck hurts to much or arms give out. I was a very active person before this so this new hobby has opened a hundred new doors and alot of new friends that are down to earth people. Great knife by the way and dont piss off WILL clean out the tube . lol kellyw

I think that is a great knife, you chose to do a Guard which I feel adds a little difficulty especially for your 1st! Keep at it, and am glad to hear your "life" is looking up...
