My first ASH!!

What kind of ASH is that? That looks expensive.
 
Looks like a Double Cut Fatty (could be a .22 but I am not sure) with standard grips.

That would be the 2007 SE .22 FFG dcbb with standard green/black g10 handles. That is the ash that prompted me to have the same type of handles put on an amazing zero edge competition finished by the shop skinny ash. Who doesn't like looking at a perfect ASH? :D

That's a beautiful ASH man, dang!! Are those made with INFI steel? I want one. Perfect ASH indeed.
 
Everything about the Ash1 design is sweet as honey...love that knife!! Great score man!!!

Thanks man! Yeah I agree, I thought about it and compared it to the SFNO and they're almost the same but the handle got my attention, it looks and feels like it's just going to stay in my hand, I have large hands, XL gloves, and it fits me perfectly; so I found one in the exchange and got it, lucky me. :)

I hear you, I'm waiting on a TRASH-1 (0.25") and a Fat ASH-1 (0.32") from the Blade Ganzaa.
They'll be my first ASH as well.
 
Thanks makariotes! Believe its the only "Devil's Ash" in existence. And...I also polish my tubes. The ones on my Busse's!...;-)
 
I agree with you, great knife. Mine is the same color combo as well. Ordered the BG Team Gemini to match. I almost did the same for the Ratweiler but at the last minute changed it to sage/brown to match my Chopweiler.
 
The ASH is my fav Busse blade bar none, I got my first a BG ASH back in Sept. and it was love at first fondle. Wonderful design, if I can manage to get back on my feet again I will have a Fat ASH down the road.

Ha ha, yeah I got it bad man! I get like that with things I like; when I became a US citizen in the year 2000 the first thing I did was I went to Turner's and bought a Springfield Armory 1911A1, the GI version, in .45 ACP of course; I always wanted one but they are reserved to the military in Mexico (there is no real freedom down there, and corruption sucks), I kissed it when I finally got it after the CaliNazi 10 day wait; then I just got psycho and ended up with something like 30 or so hand guns and rifles; I think I'm sick or something. No wonder I am poor now, ha ha.

Seriously, I think I have major OCD. I can't wait to see your blades when you get them, post a picture will you?

You're welcome, It's got to be the only one, I never expected to see a red Busse, a red ASH for that matter. And the tubes! See what I'm saying? I get crazy with things I really like, that is a bad ASH blade.

Yeah, I love the looks of the Team Gemini, I'm going to start saving for one of those, in INFI if possible.

I think it is my favorite too, so far; yeah the design is just awesome, I love the thing.
I don't mean to be nosy but, Back on your feet? What happened to you?
You know, I broke my back at work about 9 years ago and I still can't get back to work, I used to love my job but can't do it anymore, but I'm still here kicking bro, you will get back on your feet for sure, it might take some time but you will; I lost everything I had, house, cars, job, wife, guns, etc. even my mind at one point. But as long as you have people who love you the rest matters not, at least to me. Keep the faith brother:thumbup: (Sorry, I'm not trying to preach at you or anything like that, I'm just trying to encourage you man, I know you know that:D)
