My first batch!

So I posted a little EDC knife last week and got four orders from it. The third is awaiting scale choice but here are the first three. I wanted to leave them a little rustic so I left some of the grind marks and such. Still need a couple coats of oil and sharpening but they are almost ready to ship. The last pic shows the pocket sheaths they get.

Thanks Schmittie! They were my $40.00 firsts. Im going to keep the design, people seem to like it. We will see for sure when they get to use them.

Absolute value for a handmade 1095 knife...a friggin' BARGAIN!

KFU: how hard is it to get some more Red Mallee Burl?

(I have two B'rers that are gonna FREAK when they see this....you have my email address....lemme know when you start another batch,please!)
 
Thanks for the comments everyone. I will make another batch of these soon after I get done with my Bushcraft knives. Any future orders for these will be a little more expensive though. This batch was was a special price, didnkt really make anything on them. I just wantede to cover supplies. Im going to wait and see how everyone likesthem and go from there. They wont be much more though either way.
Gnarly, the Malle isn't real easy to come by, but I will try one of my wood suppliers. He sells primarily Aussie woods.

Will do Tower2. Ryan, Ill shoot you over a pic when I decide on the final design. Its going to be about 8.5 OAL with a 4" blade. Should start on them this week when I get freed up from work.

10 days ago,I didn't know Red Mallee Burl from fencerow sassrus....now it is my new favorite wood handle material!

Excited about the upcoming Bushcraft knife you mentioned...

But really wound up over the KFU Wharnie!
