My first Becker knife (Blade Show)

Today I met Mr. Becker and bought my first Becker knife, a lovely BK9. Mr. Becker was as gentlemanly a man as one could wish to meet and treated me as if I were on old friend he just happened to be meeting for the first time.

I look forward to a lifetime of good, hard use out of what will probably be the first of many Becker knives for me.

Welcome to the addiction, friend. My second fixed blade and first decent knife was my BK7 I got in January. Since, I have purchased a BK2, 4, 5, and 11. It's real and probably requires a 12 step program.

I wish I'd been smart enough to buy a 9 first. I think it took me nearly a year. Congrats on a great blade purchase and on meeting Ethan. I hope you can take some pictures and share them with us. We love Becker pics!

Thank you everyone for the kind welcome. I'll likely be adding a BK16 or BK17 in the next couple of months. It also looks like I'll have to buy another BK9 as my wife covets mine.

You can never have enough Bk9s.
 
A 9 started my journey too, still have meeting Mr Becker on my bucket list though.

Ivarr, which one were you? I know I put a few 9's across the glass.

Only one BK 9 went back to Olean......
