Yep, my boy still does that at age 10 1/2. I think the boys never grow up.
I will second that. I've been kinda used to dogs becoming the kids' once kids start coming on the scene. That did not happen with my boy Kona. He is as much my dog today as he was before our daughter was born.

Its funny to me how weird people are about Rotts.
They are one of the most loyal, easy to train dogs. They will defend you and your family with no hesitation, and they will love on you and your family like they are your dear old grandma.
Wonderful dogs, but because of their size too many people seem to think they are "Bad dogs" It makes me crazy. Smart dogs too, although in my experience they do have more heart even than brain.
