Now I'm also the proud owner of legendary Becker BK2 knife. Don't need to say how great it is,everything is said already.
Personaly,I don't fancy Micarta handels,I like original ones better,so I just do a little stippling and now grip is fantastic.
Can't wait to go outdoors and put a little work on the beast :)

And another image,in company with my Mora Bushcraft Black,Leatherman Charge TTi and Suunto Core.

congrats! bk2 may be the only knife you ever need... definitely wont be the only knife you ever buy tho if you love knives;)

Welcome!!! We always like to hear about new Becker steel, especially when you include pictures.

I'd be willing to bet it won't be your last. :D

How do you plan on using it? I use my 16 a lot more than my 2 but that's just me.

Thanks for sharing!!!

The 2 was my first also I just got my second in today....a bk11 it will take the place of my izula in my edc. Looks like im slowly morphing into a beckerhead

Congrats on your 2, That is a very nice stippling job BTW. Lets see that sucker put the hurtin on some stuff!

And just as a warning... There are more Beckers in your future... You will wake up one morning with the 2 in your hand, a 5 on your hip, a 12 in your other hand, tweeners coming out of your ears, a machax between your teeth, a 3 on the bedside table and an 11, 13, 14, and 24 clasped between your toes.... and just as you think its all over... you will find a 9 shacked up with your best girl... with a 10 watching...

:D

Good Luck...

Thank you all for welcome,I'm glad to be part of such a great community.

And...yes. I know that's the only my first Becker in the line :D

How do you plan on using it?

Well,it will play a great role in making camps in the wood for example. Also,I may cut me some concrete blocks, refrigerators, lawn mowers, usual stuff.. :D
Just kidding :)

If only there were more forests in Northern Oklahoma, I could take it out and play!

I hear ya. I live in the desert and it's a bit of a drive to really get into the woods. Luckily I'm on the edge of town so I can take a little stroll up the creek bed away from prying eyes and there's plenty of wood to test on.

PS - I just got my first Becker yesterday! If only there were more forests in Northern Oklahoma said:
I live and work all over the great state of OKLAHOMA! Even in the plains there are things the BK2 can take out. If not... just travel South... I love this state.

"If you don't like the weather in Oklahoma... wait a minute... it'll change..." - Will Rogers

I've been to several states with that same motto.

I've heard that saying pretty much everywhere I've been, too. I always assume that people who say that about flat states (I've heard it Michigan, Iowa, Texas, Kansas, and Ohio) have never been in the mountains ;)

Thank you for compliments. I tried with minimalistic approach, yet functional. And I can say, grip is just phenomenal now.
