  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My first becker

Well... I guess I don't have quite the gumption to go without food for that long. That, and it would be hard to talk my wife into letting that happen. We eat pasta like 5 days a week as it is :).

Although a starving student diet might sell well...

And I've never held a BK10, but know that you really can't go wrong with beckers, and like many have said, you'll likely end up with more of them after this anyway, so the BK10 is a great way to start off :).

OK, I give. I will order it first thing on monday, but I am not a patient man! This will be a long weekend.

You can get the 2 Day (or is it 3?) shipping for $10 instead of the regular $8 shipping. Worth the extra $2 to me

I ordered mine Thursday morning, shipped Friday and will be here Tuesday.

I just got my second BK-2 and I'm in love again. I'd say get that one for a start. It's a good allround knife, probably not ideal for fine carving, but it does what needs to be done if you need it. Plus if you're into batoning, it's probably your best bet out there :D

Well I just added up my finances, and it looks like the BK10 might have to wait for a bit :(

I hope they are still left when you got the cash. 180 made only. To repeat my previous statement.....bk5. Or a bk2. Either or. Bk5 is timeless and a wicked knife. Bk2 is a beast and a sharpened prybar. I like the bk2, love the bk10, and dream about the bk5.

Really what you should look at is your skill set. I started with the bk2 and as my skills progressed I found such a thick piece of steel wasn't for me, then found the bk10, best or both worlds (the bk7 is a longer version of the 10 and more affordable option). Then I held the bk5 and holy hell can that knife really do it all.

I ended up ordering a bk2, I'm sure it won't be long before I have a 7 & 9. I really like the 10, but I thought it was suppose to come back into production soon(correct me if I'm wrong) and if it does I would be just fine with a regular model(non LE). I would almost feel bad using something not easy to get.

No re-release scheduled. Years at the soonest if ever. Good choice with the bk2. Can't go wrong there

Well come my next paycheck I guess I know what I will be buying(hope there are some left)

So now that I have a becker on the way, what does a guy gota do to be a Becker Head?
