OK, I don't post here often, but I lurk here a lot and I certainly have learned a bunch from all of you! I had to post this, though (swiped your pic, Bryan!) and compliment Bryan Breeden and his work!

Katknife.jpg

This is my new Kat knife, made "my way" by a maker who is very attentive to his customer's needs and wants, and who delivers an excellent product at an excellent price! The blade on my "L'il Kat" is just 2-1/2" long with a total length of just 6". This perfect little beauty is great for my jeans pocket or in my bag, and yet delivers performance of a knife many times its size. I'm loving it!

very nice... that looks like a handy little cutter...:)

i like those KAT knives a lot...

Congrats on an excellent looking knife bro! It looks like a perfect pocket edc.

As always, nice work Brian.

I used to carry a folder all the time. Once I switched over to a fixed blade in my front pocket, I will never go back. That is a great one for it too.

Very nice design! It reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

It'll come to me. Congrats, let us know how she does!

Thanks for the compliments, guys, and for making me feel welcome. I'm really impressed the Bryan listened to what a girl had to say, and then produced exactly what I envisioned. Sorry my camera is failing me, I'd like to show you just how well it fits my hand. ;)

Exceptional work. And Bryan never told me how it "should" be. This baby makes excellent fuzz sticks...:D

Very nice knife, and welcome to the forum. I had the opportunity to handle this knife when I visited Bryan a couple weeks ago. It's definitely a nice, handy little blade. It weighs next to nothing, I'd probably forget it was on my belt and wear it somewhere it wasn't supposed to go ;) Bryan makes some excellent small knives. The orange handles go really good on the little knives, in my opinion. Enjoy that little fella!

Very nice little knife!
I have a handful of Bryan's knives and more on the way. I have been very pleased with is work and his ability to interpret words and sketches into exactly what you envisioned. He's also a great guy to talk to!

Welcome and don't be afraid to speak up. The more input (and pictures), the better.

He knew better than to NOT listen to any girl that's a fan of Calvin and Hobbes. ;)

It's great to see a girl interested in the stuff us guys here are. Hope you'll stick around!

You will love that KAT as it is a great EDC. I have a KAT with me every day rain or shine.

Though personally, I'd recommend using it to kill the cell phone.....Blech - those things are horrible.

Nice one Tony! :D I was going to ask if you were sure it was a 'bro' until I read down further. I think what tipped me off was the signature line.

Anyway, welcome to BladeForums with your new personna, azshaman, formerly a lurker, now out of the closet. :)

Ooops:eek: Please excuse my stupidity, I would say it won't happen again, but then I'd be lieing.

Sorry Ms. Azshaman:o

Thanks Doc as always, your like the father I never had, or should I say Grandfather:p

Well, Tony, if you mean Grandfather like as in the First Nations culture, thank you.

If you just mean, thank you, you old fart, then my thank you is withdrawn. :(

Doc :D

Hi all,
Robin, I am so glad you your knife. LOL You can use that pic any time.
I would really like to see some pics of the places you use it at like some of the digs you go to.:D

Yep Rocketbomb got to see that little darling of a knife when he was here visting. I had for gotten that he got to see and handle that little knife. LOL

Thanks again for the kind comments on the knife I made for Robin.
She was able to really tell me what she wanted in a knife and how
she was planning on using it and that really helps in the making of
her knife. Great Job Robin.
Yep Tony I got a laugh out of the bro comment too. LOL

Take care all,

Bryan

Can't we find a happy median:o How about very wise and experienced old fart:thumbup::D

LOL! :D I'm not offended...by forum name has a long an honorable legacy. Shamans in many cultures are women, so I as I have been "azshaman" forever on the computer, I never think of it. And I feel fortunate to have found a second home here. As I said, I've lurked awhile, and I love the outdoors and outdoor-related stuff! Thanks again for welcoming me. I will try to get some "on-scene" pics when I get the doggone camera fixed!

No harm, no foul guys. :D
