My First Buck Knife arrived !

Thank you all for your tremendous help, I have made my order and well its not what I thought I ever would get but..
I ordered a Buck 112, with Bucks classic 420HC, Brass bolster with rivets, finger grooves, and Heritage Walnut...
yes wood, I never thought I'd buy something with wood but I did ;)

Thank you all again! :D

Congratulations. I think you'll be very happy. While not the same knife here is a CS Squire in walnut and S30v I ordered for my father. Might give you an idea on what yours may look like.

I was wrong, The CS model pictured is the 501 Squire not the Prince as I originally stated.

Sorry to derail a bit, but when did you get a Prince with S30V steel? I haven't seen one in their custom builder throughout the year or so that ive wanted one...

And to keep it on topic, I think the 112 will be a perfect fit for medium hands. Still get plenty of blade and handle in a more portable package...

Whoops!. My apologies. I got the 501 Squire not the Prince.

Mike, that is a beauty, I sure wish they would offer damascus again.

It used to be that there were real choices when making a custom...Koa wood, jigged water buffalo, stag, etc. also blade material offered choices between BG42, S30V, damascus and the basic 420. I am not sure what is going on but the choiced currently offered do not get me excited. The choices are shallow at best.

Contacted Buck's customer service today, they said my order should ship to me by april 3rd.

That's a long wait, must be very busy this year, 4 weeks in

Thanks Buck!

Just checked my mail and found out my Buck 112 has been shipped and will arrive by thursday!!!
Can't wait!!

I'll take pictures and post them here, when it arrives

As expected the mailman came today to drop off my long awaited Buck Custom shop 112 !
I like everything about the 112, the finger grooves make it feel great in hand, with a little heft to it.
The walnut scales are beautiful, the edge was very sharp out of the box.
cant wait to see how well bucks 420HC will hold up!

Was it worth the wait?, definately!!! :)
Thank you very much Buck!

picture time!!!

Sweet! Looks very nice! It looks like your hand is just slightly smaller then mine and makes for a great fit to the 112 frame! I've decided just in the last week to go with the 112 custom as well. In the next week I'll send in the last truck payment and then I'll save toward the CS 112.

I have abnormally small hands :o
you'll like it for sure, the people at buck know what they're doing!
I choose walnut because I never had one with wood like scales before. :)
