I've been wanting to start my own line of knives and finally got a chance to bring one to life. I went with a bushcrafter/camper style and use 01 tool steel, 1/8" thick and finished it with vinegar 3000 grit finish. I also made the micarta with a pair of black denim jeans and used stainless steel pins and tube, it has a wide grip hold, I shaped the handles before installed them. 9" Over all with a blade of 4-1/8"x1-3/8" wide blade. Will post more pictures once I finish the kydex sheath. This one is getting a gray sheath with black scout straps.

Looks like a becker. :)
Pretty good first. May want to go a bit thicker in the steel department than 1/8" if you are gonna build bushcrafty choppers. Typical thickness is usually around 3/16" or so with that class of knife. Has to be able to withstand being smashed in the spine and still filet a fish... I have had good results in prolonged harsh use with a starting thickness of 1/4" ending at 3/16". I had one user actually use his as a step... To each his own, but I tend to think a bushcrafter has to be able to hold up against the unexpected...
Raggish looks pretty good with good pin placement. Maybe a bit fat for my taste, but so are a lot of beckers...
Good luck. Cheers.

I like your kydex stuff by the way. Nice and clean... I will be a leather junkie till the day I die, but I can appreciate nice clean work.

Looks good. Gives me a better idea of the grip dimensions and they look spot on from that angle. You sure that's 1/8" thick stock?? Looks thicker all things considered... which isn't a bad thing...
Nice sheath.

Good looking 1st knife. I would like to see a little pointer tip but that's me.. Rock on. Now go make another one.

I was debating on the roundness but thought it was different, I guess I could puta slight angle instead of round on the next.
