what better why to start off my busse collection!

this is an amazing piece of steel!!!


i do have one question. there was some dark residue on edge. is this normal? what is it? you can see it in the next pic. part of the redisue was wiped off when i hacked at a block of wood (hehehe).

HOLY CRAP!!!

Great looking pics and Congrats on a great piece.

I'd say the black stuff on the edge would wipe off with a little wd-40 and it is probably sharpening compound that adhered to the edge when it was sharpened.

The black stuff is probably just residue from the polishing compound used during final sharpening.
 
You know you just spoiled yourself, don't you. You should have started small and gotten something bigger, but not you're addicted. Welcome aboard.

Having received mine today, I can say What don't you do with one of those? :D
BTW, my theory that the grey handle matches the Black Canvas was right on. It's a good looking blade.
NOW YIELD BEFORE ME, FOR I AM A WIELDER OF THE GREAT AK47!!!!! (large and mischievious grin inserted here)

stay that much further from trouble

install on wife's 4-wheeler

install on my 4-wheeler

install under mattress

great shis-kabob skewer
 
Thats one awesome knife. Talk about blade envy, wish I had one! But then again theres alot of knives I wish I had.
