what better why to start off my busse collection!

here's how it arrived, clash-of-the-titans style:

this is an amazing piece of steel!!!
well??? have you chopped up something with that hunk o infi???

DO IT!:D

Stinky, I think that you ought to offer a prize to the first hog to post serious user pics of the AK, but you have to wait until I get mine. :D I mean serious user pics, not shaving back hair or cutting paper or mats. I mean whacking the hell out of something pics.

i'm going to throw mine but not like garth did it...

i'm going to throw mine like jerry throws down whiskey.

i'm going to beat mine harder than hamguy beats down cobalts posts.

that infi sword will be quivering in it's box when it shows up at my pad:D

Wow nice pics... especially the closeups. Is that a grey finish or is it DC. From those pics I'd say it was a grey finish. The pics of the old & new from randucci's thread I thought they may have offered it in a DC finish. Now I'm thinking I was right and Jerry didn't. Not that you couldn't turn her into DC... hmmmmm twitchy feeling again.... Skunk when are they comin to the store?

I think I may have to warm up the ole sandblaster!

Actually I was coming here to ask that same question, when are they coming to the store and it what color configurations?

Cool! Is that the new urban grey finish on your AK-47?

i'm not sure if it is the "new" urban grey, but it is urban grey w/ tan micarta handles. i really love it, but i'm not afraid to beat the hell out of it. i'm going to hack on an old wooden chair tomorrow. pics to come... :D

Thanks for your reply! Is the urban grey finish smooth or rough/sandy like desert tan?

are you talking about how it feels or how it looks? since this is my first busse, i don't know what desert tan is like up close. i would describe my blade as being somewhere btwn smooth and sandy. it is not completely smooth like a high polished metal, but not noticeably rough like steel construction beams. i'd say it is more smooth than sandy. sorry, but that is the best description i can come up with.

Thanks that's what I wanted to know because I have a FSH with desert tan finish & it is rough & kind of feel like sand paper when tough & I didn't like it :)
