Ordered my Team Gemini LB in April, and today it finally arrived :D

Initial impressions were great and so far the only thing I don’t like about it is that it came with a dull edge. I'll fix that soon enough, though. The knife is a little bigger than I expected and weighs 448 grams. The balance and feel of the knife is excellent. The handle is perfectly comfortable in a wide variety of grips and excels in chopping with the two finger grip.

Definitely my new favorite fixed blade :D

It rained while I took the first photos and sadly I'm not good at taking pictures in that kind of light. But I think the rest turned out OK.

This part makes me twitchy. It seems to be hit or miss whether you get a sharp one. I'm not very good at sharpening so i really hope mine comes sharp

BP, had the same issue myself. Buy the lansky kit. It's cheap, works, and I've foind that using the system actually trained me how to get it razor sharp by hand without using the system... Problem solved. Cos there's gonna be a day where you'll need to sharpen it anyway

Just got my first Busse too, exact same knife as yours. It's a really great knife, and mine came pretty sharp. I thought the paper it came with that said S.S.S.S. (Swine Shaving Sharp ????) was pretty hilarious. It's little things like that that make Busse such a great product in my opinion. Definitely won't be my last Busse.

I personally use the Wicked Edge. Easy to use and makes the knives very very sharp. It's a little expensive though.

i have precisely one tool that lets me get a shaving edge on a knife. My Worksharp is fantastic, BUT, i have never sharpened a knife that didn't end up badly scuffed because of it

the idea of scuffing the crap out of my brand new busse before i even get a chance to baton it through a car hood makes me sad

I just ordered my first Busse, it's a TGLB like yours but mine is black with green and black G-10! How long did it take from you ordered yours til it arrived?

PS: er du Norsk?

I would like to see a TGLB without a fuller, and a higher flat grind, anyone else? \

That BUSSE with the integral guard was smart, kudos to the design team AGAIN.

Not surprising your only issue was the sharpness. These knives are a great design for people looking for the features prominant on a TG.
I can see why it's your first Busse, since it's offered on the Web site and the only other option might not be legal to own in your area or whatever.
Congrats on your first (of many) and there are no truly bad photos. While some we post look grainy or blurry or poorly lit, at least it's a photo. They always say more than words.

Like I said I ordered it in April. It took a little longer than it normally would due to BLADE and other stuff, but once it was sent it only took a few days for it to arive.

PS: Ja.

Nice, thanks for the input, i hope mine doesnt take that long.

Ps: konge at jeg ikke er den eneste knivgale her til lands!

It turns out that the edge angle wasn't even consistent throughout the length of the blade. And INFI is some though stuff to get through. Took me a couple of hours to completely reprofile the blade by hand. But when I was finally done I finally understood what all the fuzz was about. INFI is amazing. While the reprofiling took a long time, the actual sharpening was a breeze. And it took an edge I haven’t seen on anything but straight razors.

Definitely not my last Busse :)

what did you use to sharpen it? I am going to have to invest in SOMETHING other than my worksharp.

It's great for some things, but on small knives, it has a habit of doing nasty things.

Like I said earlier in this thread I use the Wicked Edge Pro Pack 1. It's expensive, but if you got the money for it I would highly recommend it.
