I'm too tired to explain much, but here is my latest knife. A nice, simple chopper. The blade twisted a little when I quenched it during heat treat, but other than that, I'm happy with it. Hickory handle scales with copper tube rivets. I will say that I was able to chop through a 2 inch dry branch in 3 strokes. Now I just need to make a sheath for it.

i have trouble sometimes with warping during quenching. i read you can straighten blades after quenching before it fully hardens. ive done it a few times and it works. you have to wear gloves but it does work. now i dont usually end up with to many bent ones
