My First Chris Reeve Knife..

Excellent purchase!! Congratulations.. Be careful, because the Sebenza (and the CRK in general!) are like a drug....

I bought a large 21, then a small (at the time, only) Inkosi to see if I liked it better, realized the answer was no as soon as I held it in my hand, and then ordered a small 21. If you like the ergos of the 21, I'd stick with those. The Inkosi still sits LNIB on my shelf waiting to be sold, and… I should probably shut up now and head to another forum.

Congrats. I have a small Inkosi and love the knife but the thumb studs - not so much.

I remember when I opened my first CRK. 'Twas a beautiful moment :tears_of_joy::rapture::angel:

Congrats!!!!

Congrats! I've had many over the years, then bought/sold/traded most of them off for other pursuits, but eventually came back to a large 21 micarta. It has a permanent spot in my carry rotation now and won't be going anywhere. Every serious knife enthusiast should experience a CRK at some point.

And don't baby it...make sure to use it :) You'll appreciate it more and more with use and as it develops a "pocket patina."

I appreciate the congrats and advice from everyone. I was considering picking up a Chris Reeve calfskin pouch for the knife as well.

Congratulations!

I'm patiently waiting to get home from work. Purchased my first Sebenza as well. I sure hope it doesn't disappoint, but then again I have really nothing to compare it to. This will be my first knife purchase.

It's funny, haven't received the knife yet, and I have been hanging out in the classifieds looking for perhaps another. Eek, what has happened to me.

Congrats!

I have owned a 25 and a 21 small. I just did not like them, but do admit that the build quality is flat out amazing. The only one I do plan to get down the line is the TiLock...I like the odd lock design.

Vincent_Diesel, this is really the first knife you have owned? I have owned many different brands over the yearsand can tell you that the Sebenza is built to such close tolerances that you can just tell you are holding a precision instrument

The TiLock is a very cool knife packing a decent amount of blade in a small handle.
