My first custom. A Dozier!

Fulloflead,
Great choice! The agent is very comfortable and has a lot of cutting ability in a small package. It has always been on of my favorites. Enjoy.

Great Choice!

I'm a happy owner of 5 Doziers myself, and my 6th is in the mail as we speak!

Congrats :)

I bought a Dozier Arkanasas Toothpick at the ECCKS, it has for now, replaced my Nealy Aikuchi as my SD EDC.

Hey flufflehead,(just kidding) I was in Denver last Friday, I knew CO had some knife knutz I just couldn't remember who.

Does all of Colorlessado look like this?

Great choice. You will love using it for many years to come.

I realize this thread is as old as the hills but I enjoyed reading the posts and thought I'd try to resurrect it.

My first custon was the Polkowski Bodyguard. However, my second was the Dozier New York Special and I really like the lines of this knife. My next custom will likely be the Dozier Agent, unless my wife buys me a Nealy Aikuchi for my birthday. Here's hoping.

I've resurected a few oldies but goodies myself. If it ain't blocked off or closed I say its fair game if the mood strikes ya.

You won't be disappointed in a knife from Bob. One of his Personals is the one that converted me to a big D2 fan. They are super knives that he offers. Lots of bang for the buck but the best thing about Bob's knives is that great sheath he makes. Best in the business.

hearing all this Dozier talk is getting me in the mood to get one myself. I have always been a big fan of Bob's. I wish his folders were in my price range.

I had wanted Dozier's NY Special ( an AG Russell exclusive) since about 1997. Finally, browsing through AG Russells catalog while one a caffeine high, I pulled the trigger. I wish I could post a picture.

I have a Dozier Modified Personal I got from A.G.Russel. The blades were ground by an outside source and heat treated and sharpened by Dozier. It is marked "Dozier Arkansas Knives". It's handled in premium ironwood and still super sharp. With all the fixed blades I have, it spends more time with me then any other. Great knife and the Kydex horizontal sheath makes it an inconspicuous carry.

Doziers are fixed blade nirvana.... and I've got my eyes set on a folder at the Tulsa show.

The only fixed blade that I regularily carry is a flat-ground Modified Personal from AG Russell. In fact I love that knife so much it pisses me off that I can't carry it more often (have to tuck in the shirt at work, so I'm pretty much restricted to a folder). Dozier kydex is the best out there... but I had to get some Rowe leather for it as I'm not a kydex kind of a person.

My first custom was a Dozier too. I am about to order another one. No single knife fits every need, and I have lots of them to fill every conceivable need I can think of, but Doziers are great all arounders just the same. If you're going hunting having a Dozier on your belt is simply the best peace of mind you can buy. Enjoy. :)
