My first custom slippie

That's great lookin' knife, and the bone is just outstanding. Ken's knives are a steal for the high level of workmanship he delivers.

Enjoy it!

Beautiful knife, how do ya keep hands it?

I know if it was me I'd look like a perv, my hand would always be in my pocket rubbin' it, the knife I mean.:o:)

I got a chance to handle some of Ken's knives and talk with him at the Guild Show in Louisville a while back. Great guy to talk with and his knives are top drawer goodness.

You did well!

That is one nice knife. I like them large enough not to get lost, or dropped by my clumsy hands. That one's beautiful. Is it 154cm by chance?

Close, but no cigar, Joe. ;)

Thanks for the kind words, one and all. I evicted my Al Mar Falcon from the soft leather slip case it had been lounging in to slow the rate of scratch accumulation from riding in my pocket. This baby is going to be spending some quality time there. :D

That's a beauty... Ken makes great knives and his Texas Jack is a classic.... Enjoy!!:)

Thanks for all the great comments guys and gals. What yablanowitz failed to mention is I shipped his knife to the right guy and addy but I sold 3 knives that day (filling orders)
and shot him a pic of someone elses knife, and when he replied to my email he said Ralph
is a lucky guy whoever that is. Oh no thats the first clue that I had shipped the pic to the wrong guy!
Ken.

Wow that thing is nice. He did a good job.

Be sure and update us on it's use if you don't mind Yab! :)

Well, I don't plan to replace my S90V Military with it, but it is already getting a bit of light use. We'll see what happens at work tomorrow. :D

Who says you have to? Carry both, I normally have a Military or Sebenza along with the slip joint of the day. We're knife nuts, it's perfectly normal to carry multiple knives. It's how we recognize each other.

;)

I've always liked ATS 34. At that hardness it should be pretty tough, and wear resistant too. It's one of the benefits of custom knives, the heat treats usually get the best out of the steels from the better makers like Mr. Coats.

Man that's a beauty!

I always carry an assortment of knives, but the S90V Military is my designated beater. It is what I reach for when I have to peel paint and texture off a wall and cut the drywall out to fix a hole. I'm not quite ready to subject this beauty to that. ;)
