Thanks!I love Damascus !
Way To Go !
Excellent user knife too !
Here is my favorite Damascus . Some might call it "boring" by todays artsy over the top detailed stuff but this grain look just speaks to me and is all I would ever want in apearance .
((I think it's Larrin Thomas's Dad who made the blade stock and sold it to Case ! Extra Cool .
That's the spirit .My first (and only!) Damascus blade is a Civivi Savant. One of 5 Civivi’s, and they’re all quite fine knives. It’s too pretty to beat up, but looking at it now it’s too pretty to not carry.

I have an Elementun Wharncliff, too; not Damascus, but another really nice one that should get carried a lot more than it does. That's the spirit .
I pined for that one but I have to draw the line somewhere .
Not that I don't like the Elementum I have bought and enjoyed several over the years.
Dont give Civivi any ideas, need them to stay with some cheaper damascus since We special editions are overpriced already(though gorgeous).I'm not being a snob, or putting down civivis dama - but honestly I'm not a fan of those wider, almost more machine like layers...
I prefer these types of dama ; ) Fafnir style ... tighter and more complex

also really like this example.... viper vox katla (not fafnir really, but its tight)
