My first decent find, Remington jack.

Good eyes there Anthony I suspected at first, but when stuntdouble said bone....oooooh I thought!, BUT ...in saying that...its still a neat old knife, and proud to carry the old girl I would be!

Anthony,

Nope, just a regular run of the mill jack knife. I thinking I might have to put it my pocket for tomorrow.
The center spring / liner at first looked tapered but now I see its got dark discoloration which fooled me.. My eyes are getting old.. along with the rest of me

Really fine cutter.. Drop her in your pocket and in enjoy her!

All the best,
Anthony

Its funny, but the jigging on that delrin is nicer than any of the bone handled knives I've owned.

Okay, I took a few more pictures this afternoon, let's see if they let you see more.

Hey Stuntdouble- that is a very cool old knife, thank you so much for taking the time to take your wonderful photos, I know it takes a lot of time to do this and its much appreciated my friend

Thanks Duncan, I appreciate the compliments. It certainly is a neat little knife, even if it was one of their cheaper models. It's still heads and tails about most of the knives I tend to find around here.

Speaking of Remingtons, I'vve had this one for 40 years that I know of, and I believe it was my grandfather's before that. I couldn't get a very good pic of the mark, but I seem to recall that it was born in the 40's sometime. Nice find, Stuntdouble.
