My First Endura - what next?

I just got my first Endura yesterday, with FRN and PE. At 6'5" I don't notice the difference in size when toting, it rides just as comfortably clipped inside my pocket as my stainless-handled Delica or my Native. As for comparisons with knives more its' size I've EDC'd: It is more comfortable for ME to carry than the full-sized Rittergrip I had because it is thinner overall. I like it better than my SOG Trident folder because of blade thickness, and of course the VG-10 beats AUS-8 hands down. I like it, and look foward to getting something like the Military from Spyderco next. Of course money is tight right now, so I am having to wait longer between knife purchases.:grumpy:

You got to try a Military next especially considering your tall stature. The Endura in the time being will have you Spyder hooked!

After my first Spydie. (Endura 4,White FRN, Plain Edge.) Police 3 is next on my list!:)

The Endura is a really hard act to follow. The Military is an excellent knife, but I just can't get past the fact it has a liner lock. You should consider the Police 3.

Regardless of how big or small you are, the Endura simply disappears when clipped to the pocket. My personal favorite is the Endura 3 SE. I like the linerless FRN due to the lighter weight, and the Spyderedge makes it a very heavy duty cutter. It's amazing that a fairly heavy duty five inch closed knife can ride loose in my front pocket and I can't even feel it.

The Endura is a all time classic and all the folding knife you'll ever need.

I'm 6'5" too, but even if i was 4 feet tall, i'd still get a Military. I already have 3 Enduras and a Native. I plan on getting a Tenacious PE, all stainless Delica PE, Black Military PS, Black blade/black handle Endura PS. Maybe I'll have them all by the time i'm 50. (currently 21).

haha. It'd be nice if I could get them all tomorrow! But yall who are or who have been in college can back me up. I have no $ right now. lol

Hah, that's not a problem with me. I spend most of my money on .45 ACP, 9mm, knives, and whatever's left over on the girlfriend. (just kidding)

Today I picked up a FRN Endura 4 with combo edge. I just got the PE version last week, and had the SE for several months now. I guess it's clear I really like Enduras. I prefer to just drop it down into my RF pocket, clip and all. Clipping it onto my pocket really tears up my pocket material, though I probably would if I were wearing Levi's again. I find even with the added weight of the steel liners, thicker blade grind, and whatever else might add a little weight, it's still flat enough, light enough, and comfortable to carry down in my pocket, yet is a nice, fairly large folding knife.

Re-profiled the edge to my liking on the Endura. Stropped it back to hair-popping sharp.
After a week of carry, I decided to EDC it regularly at work. Thanks for all of the suggestions. If I ever get the cash, with gas prices killing me right now, I think I am going with the Military in S30V. With the blade at over 4", the Police 3 is too long for legal carry in TN.
