My first ever sword purchase

This was made by Jim Hrisoulas of Salamander Armory. The blade is 1060/ l6 damascus wrapped around a wrought iron core. Blade is 30 inches and total length is about 44 IIRC. What do you think?

You could do a lot worse than Jim Hrisoulas for your first sword — I clicked on this thread expecting to see some piece of crap. Really nice buy!
