My first "expensive" folder

All of my folders up to date have been your run of the mill, under $50.00 knives. Nothing special, but served the basic utility purpose i had for them. I have been wanting a ZT350 for about 6 years. I finally made the leap, and I'm glad I did. The quality seems fantastic. It's big and heavy, which I like (except in my women). It cost well over what I would normally spend on a folder (145 Amazon), but I'm glad I got it.

The 0350 is a good knife. Its even better when you de-assist it. I had one for about a month, just a little too big for me. Got mine for $80 on the exchange, it was a blem.

I know....It already happened with 1911's. It scares me. I don't make enough money for another addiction.

After a couple of months do you still like it?

Nice. A 350 was my first ZT also. Now put your hands on the ZT's 456, 562CF, 452CF, 804CF, 801, etc. And you will have your full on addiction. ;) I think I have 13-14 right now.

I started with the ZT0350 great knife until I got a ZT0300 that is the big brother. I edc is a ZT0200 and it bumped the ZT0300 out of my pocket. I like the big heavy ZT folders. Hard to lose to them.

I have 3 ZTS with more on the way, I'm sure. However as much as much as I love the sexy sleekness of the 0452cf or the beastly robustness of the 909, the 350st is my edc.

It's the perfect combination of heavy duty build and pocket friendly length. It didn't cost as much as my other ZTs, so I have made it a conscious effort to wail on it at work. It's been a steadfast and loyal edc for about 6 months.

For a hard use work knife, there a lot worse out there than the 350. I like it so much, I may be picking up another flavor for non-work carry sooner than later.

Hey, the 0350 was my first ZT too! They're fantastic, well built knives. There are many good ones out there, but my favorite will always be the 0562 CF m390. ZT's are incredible knives and I heart them.

Now that's an awesome knife!

Got the ZT 350SWCF after Mt ZT566. Love it. I really bought it because I saw Jethro Gibbs use one. Mine doesn't have the tiger but I love it. I recently bought the ZT770cfm-4 I love this.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback. I'm sure I'll be getting more...which sucks cause I cant afford any more addictions.

Yea it is heavy, but I'm a stocky guy so the size is fine for me.

I'm 6'4", and when I got mine in 2013, I was 295lbs. It was still a bit thick for me, especially as most of time I'm wearing dress pants and shirt to work. Now, I'm 185lbs, and it would be an absolute brick.

However, I would have to say that it is THE best reasonably priced medium sized hard use/overbuilt folder out there. Take it apart, remove the torsion bar (assist mechanism) polish the pb bushings, lube it up, put it back together, and its a great knife. Your next step, if you are so inclined, is to get some custom scales for it.

I was looking for different scales. It came with black, but I'm a forest green guy myself. Where would you suggest I go for some upgrades?

Talk to some of the people in the knife makers market here, under services offered. I'm sure one of them can do it.

I like forest green as well. Maybe someone can use that color ctek or juma, kirinite, etc.
