My first Fenix.

For those who wish to smoothen/soften out the horrible purple beam of the E01, do this - take some steel wool, squeeze it into a dense blob, push it in the reflector cup, and then scrub the LED. This activity is done best while watching the TV, and you may have to change the wool two or three times, depending on how hard you scrub. After about 10 to 15 minutes of intense activity, check the light, and you'll have a much softer and nicer beam (although with slightly reduced brightness). Borrowed this idea from CPF, and not originally mine.

Oh, and here is my E01, with its AAA siblings:

I just bought a Fenix E05 and all I can say is.... Awesome ! It may kick my trust Maratac out for a while. This little light is impressive for it's size and gotta love $20 :) Very well made too. Fenix is really stirrin' up the light world !
This makes my 4th Fenix.

Wait until you check out the L0D, same AAA battery, but what a light! I don't really care about the strobe, but 3 different levels comes in very handy. The brightest is really an amazing of light out of such a small package.
My EDC is the L0D. It is impressive how the max setting cranks out 80 lumens. I haven't been in any situation where this Fenix wasn't bright enough to do the job.

Good little lights, I've been carrying a Fenix L0D on my keychain for over 5 years, and it's never let me down.

But I've had my eye on a 4seven mini for a while now... addictions.

I've seen a lot of things change in my life and flashlights have come a long way.I love my LD20!

I also really like Fenix. I was looking for a smallish flashlight for pocket carry months ago. My brother-in-law has a PD20 and I liked that but wanted a slightly larger flashlight. I ended up getting two Fenix PD31 Limited Editions. Super bright, long runtime, easy to use, waterproof, and seems durable. I ended up ordering a third for my father's 50th birthday as he doesn't have a flashlight let alone a nice one. He seemed to really like it.

I personally have one for EDC and my second is in my first aid kit with a spare set of CR123 batteries.

I really like Fenix lights and will continue to purchase them. They seem to be great for the money.

I love the 2 lumen setting for map reading, finding something in your pack, finding your way up the stairs to bed when your too lazy to turn the lights on, etc. Plus, at 2 lumen output it has a supposed runtime of 200 hours! The med setting is plenty bright for most anything else with a runtime of 8 hours.
