I just purchased my first Fiddleback Forge knife. I am usually partial to Doziers for hunting, fishing, camping, etc. but I'm stoked about this knife. It's a new KE Bushie I picked up from the knife connection for $264. Seemed like a good price so I went for it. Oreo burlap handles, convex, tapered tang, 5/32's A2.

Sounds like a good one. Post pictures when you get it.

The KE Bushie and the Arête are the two FB's I haven't tried that I want the most

I debated all weekend about grabbing that KEB. If I hadnt just picked up a beautiful keb just a week ago from Onedog, it would have been gone friday.

Now I need to learn how to sharpen it. I've got DMT stones and a couple strops, but I'm guessing there is a learning curve vs sharpening my Doziers.

Knivesshipfree had some good videos.... They may still I haven't looked lately
Fletcher knives also has some good videos on YouTube

Jujawa,
Welcome to the addiction. Sounds like you got a good one for sure.
Glad you found one that fits your needs.

The KEB is the best design IMO. It is big enough to do most jobs and small enough to carry comfortably!

t is the perfect knife!

Very nice! Congrats.
Seems like a deal, especially for a Tapered Tang. From what I've noticed, they generally run a little extra and rightfully so. I'm sure it's time consuming.

Welcome Jujawa, nice score. The KE Bushie is a favorite of mine, I've had four, a bostlered natural scandi that I gifted to a friend, two in Tuxedo, and one of those twice, all of those were 1/8. Then I recently picked up one from a friend here that is brown and black and 5/32. I think I am happy with this one, at least till I find one in tapered 3/16 like my Recluse :)

Beautiful knives. I love the one with the black bolstered handle. I would have preferred something like for looks, but the price was right on this one so I went for it. The blade and handle shape look very functional to me. I'm looking forward to actually testing it out.
