  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

my first fixed blade help....

Ive been looking hard all day and Esse and Bark River are two that stand out in my mind. I really liking the look of the Bark Rivers alittle more but they have so many to pick from lol

+1

Check out the knifemakers market here. Lots of great custom fixed blades in your price range and even more if you can jump to $150 or so.

In your price range and with the specs you want, there are way too many amazing custom fixed blades on the knife makers market here. There's something awesome about holding a knife that someone made entirely by hand, plus the quality, styles, and variety of materials is awesome.

Some good suggestions so far. If you can suffer the extra inch in length, I'd opt for a Buck 119. These are light, nimble creatures that have been used in the self-defense role by many a soldier. They are reasonably priced and well made. My old 119 has been a faithful companion for more years than I care to remember. Makes a superb kitchen/camp knife for food prep as well.
