I like Firemans axe!
For my uses though, this is not practical.
But beautiful!
Well done. ;)
Can you make me an anti-pirate axe? Not so far from this one I think.
I like.

For some reason I get the feeling like seeing the top of the head would help to tell if its "hawk-ish". I can't tell how the head is shaped, even if i could i'm no expert, it looks good on this side :D

thats your first attempt? thats awesome work. i get the feeling this isnt your first go at the anvil?

a good hawk weighs one ounce per inch of length.

length isn't as important as this ratio, but 24 inches for a 24 ounce hawk is an awesome thing to wield.

more or less weight is getting away from what a tomahawk is (to me) and going towards an axe, or more of a specialty weapon.

i like the head, brother - good job.

I like the shape...She looks pretty sweet.........
lets see some photos when you get done....

The angles and proportions on that head are just right for a spike hawk! Nicely done,

Cegga I think a good design is a small rather than big...I talked to an axe man this weekend and he said the smaller the hawk the faster it is...so maybe 6/7/8 inch accross not too heavy (but good enough for chopping) and 12-16 inch handle length....but I am not an expert...

Thanks :)
The spec are lenght are 270 mm edge are 90 mm and it´s weigth 0,7 kg
